Parental Responsibilities

Parents as well as teachers are equally responsible for the all round education of the child. Hence parents and guardians are earnestly requested to keep in mind the following points:

  • Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by taking an active and helpful interest in the activities of their children.
  • Parents and guardians are kindly requested not to walk around the school or visit classes during the class hours without the permission of the principal.
  • Any communication should be addressed to the principal and not to the teachers. Mention should be made of the child’s name, class and section. Parents will not be permitted to the class rooms without prior permission either to see their children or interview the teachers. Any communication (request or complaint) is to be addressed to the principal only.
  • Check your child’s school diary everyday. Ensure that the lessons and assignments are completed regularly. Remarks made in the diary by the school authorities should be signed and taken note of.
  • Parents are requested to sign messages, progress reports, or any other similar documents when so required. Failure to do this may put your children to great inconvenience and render them liable to being sent home or sent out of the class.
  • See to it that your child is punctual and regular to school.
  • Do not send any child suffering from contagious diseases and infections to school until it is completely cured.
  • Please see that your child comes to school in proper and decent uniform
  • You are welcome to meet the Class teacher / principal and discuss the academic performance of your child from time to time with prior appointment. You are requested not to come and stand near the verandah before the school hour is over and thus help to maintain discipline and order.
  • Parents must submit a written request and provide one month notice for any of the withdrawals. T. C. will be issued only after settlement of all dues.
  • The principal’s prior consent is to be obtained incase a gift or similar token is made to the teachers by the parents. Teachers should make the matter aware to the parents.
  • No pupil will be allowed to leave the school during class time with the servants or others, unless a letter from his/ her parents / guardian is produced to the principal.
  • After each Unit tests and Terminal examination an open day is kept as per the school schedule. All parents, especially those of the weak students are advised to take maximum benefit of this programme so as to have a first hand knowledge about your ward’s academic performance and behaviour pattern.
  • If the head of the institution finds the performance and behaviour of any pupil unsatisfactory and orders withdrawal of such pupil, it is obligatory on the part of the parent or guardian to withdraw the pupil.
  • No gifts of any sort is encouraged by both parents and students.
